Nick is director of DOQEX, a software business in York developing and supplying security services to businesses across Europe.
Why did you become a parish councilor?
I believe in getting things done at the grass roots and getting involved with the parish council enables me to directly help the community in which we live.
What do like most about living in Rawcliffe?
Everything a growing family needs to thrive and enjoy themselves is close by. It’s easy to cycle into York and easy to get out to the rest of the Yorkshire countryside.
What do you like least?
Ring road traffic!
Where’s your favourite spot in North Yorkshire?
North York Moors, Rosedale and the Cropton Inn.
